There are thousands of beautiful white shirts,
but every woman has a different idea of what makes one perfect.
but every woman has a different idea of what makes one perfect.
Over time, we listened to what women wanted, how it should fit, how it should feel, how it should move, and most importantly, how it needed to work within their wardrobe. From under a suit, to denim, tailored pants or a skirt, we wanted to create a white shirt that could move effortlessly between them all.
The fabric was just as important as the design. We searched for a cotton that held its shape without feeling stiff, resisted creasing as much as possible, and remained soft enough to tuck comfortably and wear all day.
Then came the details.
A double-layered shoulder yoke creates beautiful definition through the shoulders and gives the shirt a polished structure. A slightly relaxed fit provides ease through the body without losing shape, allowing it to sit comfortably under tailoring or be worn effortlessly on its own.
A feature left pocket and V-detail cuffs bring subtle architectural interest, while the softly curved hem and fine stitching minimise bulk when tucked into trousers or skirts, while still falling beautifully when worn out.
Every element has a purpose.
The result is our interpretation of the perfect KG white shirt, considered, versatile and designed to become one of the hardest-working pieces in your wardrobe.
One shirt. Endless possibilities.
THE DETAILS BEHIND THE PERFECT WHITE SHIRT
Every detail has been considered not simply for how it looks, but for how it feels and performs when worn.
Double-layered shoulder yoke
Constructed using a double layer of fabric through the shoulder, creating greater definition and structure. It gives the shirt a more polished silhouette, helping the shoulders sit beautifully without feeling rigid.
Statement left pocket
A considered design detail that gives the shirt its own identity while maintaining a clean, refined finish. Subtle enough for work, but distinctive enough to wear on its own.
V-Detail cuffs
A more architectural interpretation of the traditional shirt cuff. The V detailing elongates the wrist and adds a subtle point of difference when worn beneath a jacket or with the sleeves turned back.
Slightly relaxed fit
Designed to skim rather than cling to the body, allowing ease through the bust and waist while still maintaining shape. It gives you freedom to move, layer and tuck without creating unnecessary pulling or tension.
Softly curved hem with fine stitching
The curved hem allows the shirt to fall beautifully when worn out, while the fine, minimal stitching reduces bulk when tucked into trousers or skirts. No heavy hemline, no unnecessary bunching, just a cleaner, smoother finish.
These are small details individually, but together they are what make a shirt feel considered, flattering and effortless to wear.
