Step One | Initial Consultation
The journey begins with a personal consultation, either in store or virtually. This is your moment to share your vision. Together, we’ll refine the silhouette, choose your preferred neckline, sleeve, hem length, and finishing details. You’ll select from a refined edit of luxurious fabrics, including our signature premium bonded crepe and seasonal tweeds. Whether you’re drawn to sculpted structure or rich texture, we’ll guide you to the perfect fabric for your occasion, shape, and personal style.
Step Two | Precision Measurements
Once we’ve finalised your design preferences, we take a meticulous 30 point set of measurements. But this isn’t just about precision, it’s about how you feel in your clothes. We take the time to understand how you like your garments to sit, how you prefer them to fall, and what makes you feel most confident in motion. From sleeve length to waist placement, every detail is customised to reflect your shape and your preferences.
Step Three | Initial Appointment
Then you will return for your toile fitting. Unlike traditional methods, your toile is crafted in the shell of your actual garment fabric without lining or zips, to allow for precise tailoring and fine-tuning.
Buttons, pockets, and other design features are pinned in place, giving you the chance to make real time decisions on their final placement.
Whether bonded crepe or textured tweed, this fitting ensures your piece is shaped exactly as you envisioned.
Last Step Fit & Collect
Your completed garment will be ready for collection or delivery once every detail has been perfected. Whether you visit our flagship store, local KG fitter, or receive your piece by courier, this is the moment where your custom garment becomes a lasting part of your wardrobe.

All garments from KG are individually produced. When opting for a standard size garment, your order will be dispatched within 28 days.
If you decide on a made to measure garment, your toile fitting will typically be in 21 days, it will then be sent back to Sydney head office, altered and completed within 14 days.
Please ensure that the billing and shipping address details are correct, as we are unable to redirect. Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of dispatch. Please note that we will endeavour to send your order out as quickly as possible but we cannot be responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations or adverse weather conditions.
Once dispatched, orders on the East Coast of Australia will take between 1 to 2 days for delivery, Western & South Australia will take 4-5 days while international orders may take from 5-7 days.

Made to Measure Returns Policy
At Karen Gee, our Made to Measure garments are crafted specifically for you, reflecting your unique measurements and preferences. Due to the personalised nature of these pieces, we do not accept returns. However, our dedicated team is committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction.
Our Commitment to You:
- Faulty Items: If you believe your garment is faulty, please contact our concierge at warehouse@karengee.com. We will assess the issue and, if deemed faulty, we will provide a complimentary postage label for you to return the item. Upon receipt and verification of the fault, we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
- Fit Adjustments: In the rare instance that your Made to Measure garment does not fit as expected, our team will work closely with you to make the necessary adjustments. We strive to ensure your garment meets your expectations and fits perfectly, if you have signed a toile acceptance form, you have accepted the fit, and therefore further adjustments may incur an extra charge, to the discretion of our team.
Important Guidelines:
- Proof of Purchase: All concerns must be accompanied by proof of purchase for validation.
- Original Condition: The garment must be in its original condition, with all tags attached, and must not have been worn, altered, or laundered.
